Createxplore ratings are given when a project is completed. An Explorer gives a rating to the Creator they worked with on the project, and Creators rate their Explorer too. An Explorer is asked to rate their Creator when they mark the project as completed. At the same time the Creator will be asked to rate their Explorer.
We use a 5 star rating scale where 5 is the highest rating and 1 is the lowest. Here are some guidelines for choosing a rating for your Creator or Explorer. Remember, if you have any issues with a Creator or Explorer please let us know straight away at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A 5 star Creator is someone who met the Explorer’s brief for the project perfectly. They finished the project on time and met all the Explorer’s expectations. They were great at staying in touch and asked questions about the brief when they needed to. The Explorer felt like the project was important to the Creator.
A 5 star Explorer is someone who gave the Creator a clear brief for the project and answered any questions from the Creator quickly. The Explorer understood that the Creator is not a professional and made allowances, for example where the Creator might be unavailable during the working day. The Explorer made any payment offered to the Creator for the project promptly.
A 3 star Creator is someone who only partially met the Explorer’s brief for the project. They might also have finished the project later than agreed or been slow to reply to messages. Or perhaps what they delivered for the project didn’t quite match the quality of the work in their portfolio.
A 3 star Explorer is someone who may not have given the Creator a clear brief for the project, or may have changed the brief multiple times. They may have been slow to reply to messages or to review or accept what the Creator delivered. They may have been slow to make any payment offered to the Creator for the project.
A 1 star Creator is someone who didn’t meet the Explorer’s brief for the project. If they did deliver any part of the project then it’s likely to have been poor quality and nothing like the quality of the work in their portfolio. They may not have replied to messages.
A 1 star Explorer is someone who had unrealistic expectations of the Creator taking account of the chosen Creator’s skill level and portfolio. They may not have provided a brief for the project or responded to messages, and they may not have made any payment offered to the Creator for the project.
When you give a Creator or Explorer a rating you’ll also be able to leave a short message of feedback which will then be visible on their dashboard to anyone else considering working with them.
We know that trusting each other is really important to our community of Creators and Explorers, and we think these ratings are the best building blocks for that trust. We’d welcome any feedback at email@example.com.
